Five security men injured in Khyber

BARA: Militants in Khyber Agency on Tuesday attacked a security checkpost in the Akakhel area, injuring five security personnel.

Security sources said that militants stormed a security checkpost and shot injured the officers. Forces retaliated and pushed back the militants into the mountains. Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area and defused four bombs during a search operation following the exchange of fire. Meanwhile, militants fired at NATO tankers in the Ali Masjid area of Jamrud. Luckily, no loss of life was reported in the incident.
