Follow up:
The Tolerant Pakistan campaign believes that those who stand for justice, peace and respect for all need to be heard more clearly and incessantly. The launching event of the seminar was held Tuesday at the Library Hall, Quaid-e-Azam University, in collaboration of the Centre of Excellence in Gender studies.
The message of "we all stand for a just and tolerant Pakistan" was loud and clear at the event as participants themselves identified the reasons of this urgent need of the Pakistani society towards the end of the event.
Sharing the introduction of the IHI Network, Aqsa Khan said that IHI is a Rawalpindi and Islamabad civil society coalition for human rights campaigning came into being in 2006 in response to various crises the country was facing. Nasreen Azhar, senior peace activist and member IHI network, introduced the Just and Tolerant Pakistan Campaign to raise voice againstviolence.
