The days ahead could be decisive ones in Jammu and Kashmir if All India Congress Committee (AICC) vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s message is read between the lines.
The change has to come from within (J&K), and not by the change of the government in Pakistan.
Rahul, during his one-day visit of the state, made it clear that the “change has to come from within”. Now this sort of change is open to many interpretations, but one thing is more than certain that he issued a strong word of caution — that don’t look outside for change in Kashmir, be it towards Pakistan or any other nation.
