Did India agree to demolish bunkers for Chinese troop withdrawal?



New Delhi: The Indian government may have denied any deal behind the Chinese troops' withdrawal from the Depsang Valley in Ladakh, but reports said New Delhi has agreed to remove bunkers set up by the Indian Army in Chumar near the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The concession of demolishing bunkers at Chumar only facilitated the deal that led to the Chinese troops pulling back to their pre-April 15 position, highly placed sources said.

India accuses China of incursion across boundary



New Delhi: An Indian official has accused Chinese soldiers of launching an incursion deep across the border.

The incident is raising tensions between the two Asian giants over their disputed boundary in the Himalayas.

Jammu and Kashmir state official Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo said late on Monday that Chinese soldiers crossed 10 kilometers into India on April 15.Meanwhile, Indian and Chinese military commanders held a flag meeting in Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) sector in Ladakh, according to the reports. India wants the Chinese to withdraw their troops from Depsang.

Skyfall: Dead falcon sparks spying fears on Pakistan-India border



JAIPUR: Indian security forces have found a dead falcon fitted with a small camera which has sparked alarm near the country’s highly militarised border with Pakistan, an official said Monday.

The carcass was discovered near the ancient fort city of Jaisalmer in the far west of the desert state of Rajasthan where the Indian armed forces regularly conduct drills and war games.
