Kabul : Afghan president Hamid Karzai once again criticized Pakistan’s military and intelligence agency for their efforts to weaken and make Afghanistan unstable using religious extremists as a tool.

Follow up:

President Karzai has said that Afghanistan will never complain from the people of Pakistan since they shared their home and food with the Afghan people during holy war and emigration times.

While speaking during an interview with Pakistan’s Geo News, president Karzai said that the people of Afghanistan will never allow to change their country into a strategic depth for Pakistan’s policies, and that Pakistan should have control to Afghanistan’s foreign policy. Karzai also said that Pakistan used religious extremists as a tool against Afghanistan, but today they are facing the same threat.

He said, Pakistan’s military and intelligence have always been misusing from the goodwill of Afghanistan, and are looking to have influence in the government of Afghanistan. The efforts by Pakistan will have only led to destruction and disaster, and they will not achieve anything from their efforts, Karzai said adding that if the government of Pakistan is looking to enforce Afghanistan to recognize Durand Line as formal border between the two countries through destructive efforts then they should know that they will never achieve their target.

President Karzai criticized Pakistan’s military and intelligence for being reckless to improve relations between the two nations, despite the government of Afghanistan has made continuous efforts to have friendly relations with Pakistan. Karzai insisted that the people of Pakistan should realize that considerable opportunities were missed during the past ten years to improve relations between the two nations. He also added that Afghanistan will have a new government within the next once year, and expects that Pakistan should use the opportunity to improve its relations and assist Afghanistan.
