KARACHI: Lawyers across the country boycotted court proceedings on Thursday to protest against yesterday’s suicide attack on Sindh High Court’s (SHC) Justice Maqbool Baqar, DawnNews reported.
At least nine people were killed and 15 others injured on Wednesday when a bomb targeting the convoy of Justice Maqbool Baqar exploded near Karachi’s Burns Road area.
Courts across Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan wore a deserted look as lawyers boycotted legal proceedings after an announcement was made yesterday by the Pakistan Bar Association in this regards.
