Shia school van driver shot martyred in Karachi

Shiite Syed Imran Abbas, 32, was martyred when terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba opened fire on a school van in New Karachi.

The terrorists are believed to have been lying in wait for the school van and opened fire on it when it arrived. The driver, Shiite Syed Imran Abbas, was killed as a result. His body has been shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.




It is worth mentioning that 2 Shiite brothers, Hashim and Jan Mohammad, and their friend Dawood were injured by the firing of the same group of terrorists in Karachi’s Gulshan Iqbal Block two days ago.  “A total of six bullets were shot, two hit his head and the other four misfired,” explained DSP Chaudhry Akhtar. “They (culprits) took advantage of the speed breaker and attacked him when the victim slowed down his vehicle.”

The incident happened in the North Karachi area. Police said that the man belonged to the Shia community. There were two students on the back seats of the van at the time of the incident but they were unhurt.
